Institution’s Innovation Council

Vision

To foster innovative entrepreneurial culture to students, alumnae and faculty by providing opportunities to transform their business ideas into reality.

Mission

1. To create an ecosystem to incubate and support innovative ideas.
2. To create entrepreneurship opportunities for students, faculty and research scholars.
3. To nurture the start-ups by providing them necessary support.
4. To provide support to commercialize innovative and sustainable ideas.

 Function of IIC

Promote innovation in the Institution through multi-dimensional modes leading to an innovation promotion eco system in the campus.

1. To conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by Central MIC in time bounded fashion.
2. Identify and reward innovations and share success ideas.
3. Organize periodic workshops/ seminars/ interactions with entrepreneurs, professionals and create a mentor pool for student innovators.
4. Create an Institution's Innovation portal to highlight innovative projects carried out by institution's faculty and students.
5. Organize Hackathons, idea competition, mini-challenges etc., with the involvement of industries.
